A new trend for men is to cut their hair short to give it a more youthful look.
This new trend is gaining popularity among the younger generation who are keen to cut it short to get more time to relax.
The haircuts that are popular amongst millennials are a mixture of short haircuts and a more traditional style with an old man style.
A survey by fashion magazine, Fashionably, shows that a majority of the male shoppers surveyed want to have a haircut that suits them best.
“The men who want to keep their hair long, short, or no hair are also more likely to be women,” the survey said.
“In terms of hair length, women tend to be shorter and men shorter.”
The trend for younger men to cut the hair down is due to the fact that they are less likely to have children, or face financial pressures and social pressure to trim their hair.
Women also tend to cut down their hair shorter in order to be more comfortable around their men, the survey found.
For older men, there is a need for shorter haircuts to achieve the same results, the study found.
“The trend of younger men wanting shorter haircut has increased as the generation gets older,” the study’s author, Sarah MacLeod, said.
Men aged 30-34, are more likely than women to have short haircut styles and have more hair than women of the same age.
In a survey of over 20,000 men by the Men’s Health magazine, 58 per cent said they prefer shorter haircuttons, with a third saying they have no preference.
They are also significantly more likely as they get older to have less hair than their peers.
“A haircut is one of the best things a man can have,” MacLeod said.
“They can keep their hairstyle and it’s a good fit for them.”
For young men, shorter haircutters are also becoming popular with younger women who are more open about their sexual preferences, MacLeod added.
MacLeod said that younger men want to cut shorter to be comfortable with their body and to be able to express themselves.
She said they also want to be stylish.
“It’s very fashionable for them to have shorter hair and the trend has picked up in the last couple of years.
It’s about being confident, and the longer they keep it, the more confident they become,” MacLeods said.
