Tom Brady will be getting a new look in the off-season, as the Patriots quarterback will be undergoing a facial hair transformation.
The move comes as the NFL looks to shake up its image with the advent of the “Merry Shave Club,” a weekly YouTube channel dedicated to grooming, shaving and styling the players’ heads.
The new haircut is the latest in a long line of facial hair additions for the veteran quarterback, who recently had a mustache shaved off and had to remove it due to a mild case of terminal cancer.
Brady has had his eyebrows styled, his hair pulled and shaved all over his body.
Brady will also be shaving off his mustache, which he had been wearing since his rookie season in 2012.
The Patriots released a statement about the new look saying the decision was made in consultation with his family, which included his two sons.
Britton will have a beard, which is part of the grooming regimen, and he will also shave off his long black hair, which comes in two styles, a full-length ponytail and a half-length braid.
He will also undergo a beard facelift at home, according to the Patriots.
