Posted November 15, 2018 07:51:53A 24-year-old man is accused of killing his girlfriend and stabbing his wife before killing himself in a north-end park.RCMP say the man had been drinking and that they received a call around 3:30 a.m. about the attack at the corner of Woodlawn and E. Broad streets.
Officers say the victim, a woman in her 20s, and her boyfriend were walking their dogs when they were attacked by the suspect, who fled the scene.
He later crashed his car at the intersection and attempted to flee the area, but was stopped by a police officer.
Police say the suspect then stabbed the victim and his wife in the head before fatally stabbing himself in the park.
The man is described as white, approximately 180 kilograms, with a medium build and a light complexion.
He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a grey tracksuit bottoms.
